Talk freely. Stay nobody.
anonysea gives you a brand-new random name in every wave — so nobody can piece together who you are, conversation after conversation.
best pizza in town?
honestly just make it at home, way better
too much drama?
nah, that's a lot to deal with either way
Same you. Two completely different names.
Why anonysea?
A new name, every wave
In one wave you might be "Turbo Snail", in another "Waffle Ninja" — same you, impossible to trace between them.
Public Waves, private Bubbles
Jump into open conversations (Waves), or slide into someone's replies with a private one-on-one chat (a Bubble) — all without giving up your anonymity.
Photos, shrunk & scrubbed
Attach images freely. We compress them and strip hidden location data automatically, every time — your data stays secure.
Moderated, not a free-for-all
Report anything that crosses the line. Real moderators, real accountability — even though nobody has a name.
How it works
- 1
Start or join a wave
Pick a conversation, or start your own with a title, a post, and up to 5 tags.
- 2
Get a random name
The moment you post, you're assigned a silly new name — just for that wave (conversation).
- 3
Chat freely
Your name resets every time you're somewhere new. No profile, no history, no way to connect the dots.
Common questions
Is anonysea actually anonymous?+
Yes — every wave gives you a brand-new random name, and nobody can link it back to your account or to any other wave you've posted in. The one exception: our moderators can see which account is behind a message, but only to investigate reports and enforce bans — never shown to other users.
Do I need my real name or a photo?+
Never. Your username is only for logging in — it's never shown anywhere in the app. There's no profile photo either; every avatar is a random icon tied to your pseudonym, not to you.
What stops people from using this to harass others?+
Reports go to real moderators, not a void. Accounts that cross the line get banned, even though nobody has a public name — anonymity protects your privacy, not bad behavior.
Can I delete my data?+
Yes, anytime, from Settings — export everything you've posted, or delete your account outright. No waiting, no support ticket.
Could someone else get the same pseudonym as me?+
Not in the same wave — every pseudonym is unique within a wave while it's in use. But different waves don't share a namespace, so someone in a totally different conversation might coincidentally get the same silly name. That's fine: pseudonyms are scoped per-wave on purpose, so nothing carries over between them.
